At the National Zoo, you must stand in line to enter the reptile exhibit due to limited space. During warm weather, there is an alligator just outside the building next to the waiting line. This guy popped up for a moment while we were there. I liked the photo so much I used it for my wife's blog header. I did some minor touch-up work on this - adjusted contrast and cropped it slightly.
