This is one of my favorite photos. It was raining off and on that morning. We had gone for a drive around the lake rather than the planned hike. I pulled over when I noticed the light from the rising sun reflecting off the mountains. I took a few shots and was about to drive off when I noticed the ducks starting to swim into view. It was the first time that I saw a good composition developing before my eyes. The photo turned out better than I expected. I just wish I had taken my better camera with me.
