We were nearing the end of our first hike in Yellowstone and no bears so far. On one hand we wanted to see one and on the other we did not. As we were heading up a hill away from the creek, we noticed two hikers watching us. When we reached them, they told us we had passed closely by a bear. He hadn't noticed us as he was busy feeding and we had not noticed him. Some other hikers talked to him which made him raise up like this. We stayed back at a safe distance and made use of the zoom lens.
